Still buzzing from the Van Morrison interview! Spent nearly an hour travelling through this legendary musician’s mind. Great insights on his songs and recordings, and the musicians that made them. Listen in on BBC World Service on Saturday 9th February.
We’ll be broadcasting from Celtic Connections in Glasgow with live guest Judy Collins! Tune in as I look into the history of the area, it’s food, drink, and people. Featuring great Scottish music, and the usual insider stories and curiosities about what makes Glasgow such a unique city.
If you’re enjoying the Blues Show then please tune in a little later from Monday !
This week folk legend Shirley Collins joins me to share her experiences in America with folklorist Alan Lomax discovering iconic blues artists such as Mississippi Fred McDowell.
Hello,
It’s been a while but I have some news……..
I’ve been able to get hold of some last copies of some of my albums and books. When these go, that’s it, no more.
I have some precious TIRs plus some BABY IT’S COLD OUTSIDE: My Christmas collection with a glint in its eye… Jingle Bells, Little Donkey, Good King Wenceslas….AND that title track with Tom Jones.
I’ve only got one copy left of Gelert and one of Tales from the Deep.
I’m happy to personalise any, just add a note when you order.
I’m here ready to get them in the post to make sure they reach you in time for Christmas.
On that note, Ho! Ho! Ho! and a very Merry Christmas, NADOLIG LLAWEN i chi gyd.
Cerys
