Britain’s first cafe run by children for children – coming to the Good Life Experience this year

One of the new elements of this year’s Good Life Experience festival that we are all really excited about is the Children’s Cafe. This will be – we believe – Britain’s only Children-only run Cafe. There is a strict 12 years and under policy on the door and absolutely no adults are allowed.

There’ll be delicious and healthy food, fun, chaos, maybe a bit of gentle learning… We are looking for volunteers under 12 who will receive prizes and gifts in return for an hour or two’s help, so if you’d like to find out more about your children mucking in then email vicky@hawardenestate.co.uk.

My friend Caroline, a co-founder of the festival says “As a mother of six I know this has a good chance of descending into total chaos, but as long as it’s fun, who cares?”
